LAFAYETTE, La. -- James T. Farley, 27, Lafayette, La., formerly of McGregor, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2002, as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Lafayette.
He was born Oct. 16, 1974, in Crosby to Ray and Bonnie (Neubauer) Farley. He graduated from McGregor High School in 1993. He attended Minnesota Bible College for a time. He served in the Marine Corps from 1995-1999. After his discharge, he moved to California and lived and worked there until the spring of 2002 when he moved to Lafayette. He worked as an underwater EMT for an underwater pipeline construction company.
Survivors include his mother, McGregor; two brothers, LeRoy Farley, Union Grove, Wis., and Jarold Farley, McGregor; a sister, LoriRuth Tibbetts, Aitkin; his grandmother, Bernita Farley, Ladysmith, Wis.; and special friend, Lydia Ennis.
His father and three grandparents died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Tamarack Church of Christ with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Cemetery in Ladysmith, Wis., with the Rev. Doug Baty officiating.
Friends may call an hour before services Saturday at the church.
