The Willmar Cardinals tennis team won in straight sets at every position except No. 1 doubles in a 6-1 Central Lakes Conference triumph over the Brainerd Warriors Tuesday.
Brainerd's No. 1 team of Megan Steiger-Megan Whalen defeated Roz Anderson-Jenny Munkvold 6-1, 6-3.
"Willmar is a very good team, but I thought our kids competed very well," said Brainerd coach Bruce Thompson.
