Brainerd JV swimmers win

The Brainerd Warriors junior varsity swimming and diving team defeated Sartell 101-78 Thursday.
Winning for Brainerd was the 200-yard medley relay (Grace Larson, Mindy Jacobson, Jane Stromberg, Paige DeFrang), Alyssa Hartshorn (200 free), Olivia Elsenpeter (diving), Betsy Schuldheisz (100 butterfly), Kirstie Billman (500 free), DeFrang (100 backstroke) and Kassi Kavanaugh (100 breaststroke).
JV boys lose in soccer
Sartell defeated Brainerd 4-0 in junior varsity boys' soccer Thursday.
Brainerd keeper Matt Benson made seven saves in the first half. Thor Linnerooth, in the second half, stopped six of seven shots.
