Dolores Tessmann, 84, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, in Hopkins, Minn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crosslake, Minn. Friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will follow services at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily, Minn.
Charles, her husband of 59 years, preceded her in death last year. Dolores will be deeply missed by daughters, Pam (Murray) Feldman, of St. Louis Park, Minn., and Diane (David) Schnelly, of Tampa, Fla.; her grandsons, Joel (Amy) Feldman, Dan (Katie) Feldman and Ben Schnelly; and great-grandson, Patrick Schnelly. She is also survived by her brother, Leonard (Rusty) Larson; and sister, Annette (Duke) Petschl. Her parents and her brother, Gene Larson, preceded Dolores in death.
Dolores was a retired employee of 3M with 25 years of service. She was active in the Fifty Lakes community, involved in Helping Hands and was a Befriender with Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crosslake.
Memorials are preferred to Allina Home Care, Hospice and Palliative Care in thanks of the care and support they provided.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Crosslake.
