ALEXANDRIA - Jake Williams scored in the 65th minute for the Brainerd Warriors in a 3-1 Central Lakes Conference boys' soccer loss to Alexandria Monday.

Brainerd managed just five shots on goal as their scoring problems persist.

"It was a tough game," said Warriors coach Cahil Collins. "Alex played well. They got the early goal and then the second goal in the first half. We came back to within one, but we're just having a tough time getting the ball in the back of the net."
