PIERZ - Edward Smude, 87-year-old resident of Pierz, Minn., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, at Pierz Villa in Pierz, Minn. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz with Father Gerald Dalseth officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, and from 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz. Christian Mother's rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Pierz.
