The following recently appeared in Crow Wing District Court:

Ricky Eugene Kargel, 28, Hackensack, was sentenced for felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance to 45 days jail, placed on five years supervised probation and ordered to pay $330 in fines and fees.

Tina Lea Wallin, 28, Pequot Lakes, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor check forgery to 29 days jail, 30 days electronic monitoring, two years supervised probation and ordered to pay $160 in fines and fees.

Michael Ray Rowell, 26, Baxter, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor refusal to submit to testing to 176 days jail, placed on three years supervised probation and ordered to pay $1,140 in fines and fees.

Taylor Lee Nelson, 19, Brainerd, was sentenced for misdemeanor underage consumption and gross misdemeanor giving a false name to a peace officer to 45 days jail, placed on two years supervised probation and ordered to pay $765 in fines and fees.

Steven Michael Wenzel, 22, Lake Shore, was sentenced for felony third-degree sale of a controlled substance to 120 days jail, placed 20 years supervised probation and ordered to pay $540 in fines and fees.

Joshua Dean Neyens, 25, Brainerd, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI to 88 days jail, placed on three years supervised probation and ordered to pay $1,112 in fines and fees.

Underage consumption

The following recently were sentenced in Crow Wing District Court for misdemeanor underage drinking-related offenses:

Nicole Marie Lambert, 20, Brainerd, was sentenced for two counts of underage consumption and ordered to pay $354 in fines and fees.

Rebecca Ann Thurmer, 19, Randall, was ordered to pay $177 in fines and fees.

Curtis Laine Christensen, 21, Nisswa, was ordered to pay $78 in fines and fees.

Tyler Elliott Fredrickson, 18, McGregor, was ordered to pay $577 in fines and fees.
