The Crosby-Ironton School Board tabled action Monday on holding an operating levy referendum in November.
The school district was considering holding a referendum in November to increase its per pupil unit revenue to $400, $500 or $800. Currently, the school district has a $1 per pupil unit in place.
By tabling the action Monday, the school district missed its opportunity to hold the referendum in November. The school board plans to discuss holding a referendum in December at its Sept. 22 meeting. It must decide then if it wants to hold a referendum in December and, if so, it must set the dollar amount.
