Wadena-Deer Creek Girls finish second

GLENWOOD -- Avery Buresh led the Wadena-Deer Creek girls' to a second place finish at the Minnewaska Invitational Tuesday.

Buresh finished seventh with a time of 16:32. Rocky Jantzen led the boys' thanks to a ran, that coach Terry Olson called, "the perfect race." Jantzen posted his personal best time of 16:43 to finish third.

Bristow finishes fourth

BAGLEY-- Travis Bristow finished fourth and Katie Lupella finished 18th to led the Pine River-Backus Tigers at the Bagley Invitational Tuesday.

Josh Dale of Pequot Lakes led the Patriots with a 21st place finish and Crystal Price led the Patriot girls' with a 19th place.
