LITTLE FALLS -- Mathew "Matt" Bobick, 75, Little Falls, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at home.
He was born Sept. 21, 1926, in Bowlus to Roy and Theresa (Noe) Bobick. He served in the Army and then started a plaster and stucco business. He married Rose Witt on Nov. 22, 1948, in Sobieski. They lived in Bowlus. He was a charter member of the American Legion Post No. 642 and the VFW.
Survivors include nine sons, LeRoy Bobick, St. Paul, Duane Bobick, Little Falls, Michael Bobick, Minneapolis, Loren Bobick, Little Falls, Tom Bobick, Fridley, Lester Bobick, St. Paul, Bruce Bobick, Little Falls, Kurt Bobick, Cottage Grove, and Robert Bobick, Minneapolis; a daughter, Tara Bobick, Albany; 21 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
His wife; his parents; three sons, David, Donald and Rodney; two brothers; and four sisters, died earlier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus with Father Donald Wagner officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Parish Cemtery. Military rites will be provided by American Legion Post No. 642 and the VFW Post No. 1112.
Friends may call from 4-8 pm. Thursday at Brenny Funeral Home, West Chapel, in Little Falls with parish prayers at 6:30 p.m., and from 9 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the church.
