James Krause

NORTH ST. PAUL -- James E. "Jim" Krause, 58, North St. Paul, who suffered a heart attack Sept. 6, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2001.

He graduated from Brainerd High School. He worked 35 years in the construction industry.

Survivors include his wife, Darleen; four daughters, Tammy Schultz, Lori Rosemark, Angela Krause and Bethany Hayes; two sons, Jeff Underwood and Jay Underwood; a parent, Florence (Knute) Brumberg; a sister, Beverly Halsted; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

His father, Ervin Krause; a brother, Randall Krause; and his first wife, Kathleen Krause, died earlier.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in North St. Paul. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Mahtomedi. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Sandberg Mortuary in North St. Paul and for one hour before services Wednesday at the church.
