Nelson boosts Pillager

MENAHGA -- Mike Nelson secured two interceptions, returning one 10 yards for a touchdown and finished with nine tackles helping the Pillager Huskies to an 18-6 Prairie North Conference victory over Menahga Friday.

The victory, Pillager's second straight, was highlighted by six Menahga turnovers. Tom Dalquist led Pillager with 10 tackles and Luke Ringer added nine.

Travis Dixon rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries and Jake Eastman added 94 yards rushing, including a 24-yard score.
