The Rural Fire Association took delivery Friday of a new 1,000-gallon pumper. The truck, purchased from Fire Safety Products, Inc. of Duluth, will be put in service soon. The new addition brings the association's truck fleet to three.

Tom Hall of Brainerd collected a $15 state bounty this morning at the Crow Wing County Court House for the shooting of a large wolf which has been praying on flocks and livestock near Merrifield.

"Constitution Week", which started today, was observed in advance by the Brainerd Rotary Club, which, at its last luncheon listened to an admirable address on the Constitution delivered by Judge Walter F. Wieland.
