Roberts joins CLC Foundation board

STAPLES -- Lani Longbella Roberts, Staples, has joined the Central Lakes College Foundation Board of Directors.

She is a pharmacist and part owner of Longbella Drug, Inc., with outlets in Staples and Motley.

Roberts received a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from North Dakota State University. She is a 1979 graduate of Staples High School.

"I feel that education is a very important part of every person's life," she said. "I hope that by being a member of the CLC Foundation Board I will be able to help people achieve their educational goals."

The foundation board is composed of volunteers from the area. In addition to accepting donations and managing funds, board members serve as ambassadors of the college to the central Minnesota community.

Other Staples residents on the 21-member board are Randy Beinhorn and Tom Good.
