Pierz girls second, boys fourth

MORA - Sonya Theis was the top Pierz runner as the Pioneers' girls' team had a second-place finish at the Mora Invite on Tuesday.

Theis took third with a time of 16:49 and Mariah Hoheisel was fifth at 17:15.

Jake Poster placed 15th to pace the Pioneer boys, who finished fourth.

Boys' team scores: 1-Mora 32, 2-Milaca 34, 3-Princeton 70, 4-Pierz 121, 5-Hinckley-Finlayson 122, Moose Lake-Willow River 147.
