Rocori sweeps Warriors as mistakes seem to offset BHS highlights

COLD SPRING - Alanna Hansen picked up 15 set assists and five digs as the Brainerd Warriors volleyball team dropped a Central Lakes Conference match to Rocori 3-0 Tuesday.

"Tonight, it was two steps forward and three steps back with everything we seemed to do," Warriors coach Jared Diem said. "We would make a great play with a block or a dig or an ace and then immediately after serve into the net or out of bounds or run into each other because of lack of communication. Those are mental mistakes and it's hard to win like that.

"It is early and we know what we have to work on and we have a lot of season left, but tonight was just about making mistakes and not giving ourselves a chance to compete."

Hallsey Olson ended with 12 digs and Alice Widmark tallied 12 digs for Brainerd.
