MISSING PERSON - Received a report at 6:40 p.m. Monday of two brothers, ages 12 and 14, who ran away from their home on the 7000 block of Crow Wing County Road 127. The brothers were found about 25 minutes later at a friend's house.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT - Received a report at 6:13 p.m. Monday of 30 cows on the roadway along the 8500 block of Crow Wing County Road 1 in Timothy Township. The cows were rounded up and the fence was repaired before deputies arrival.

THEFT - It was reported Monday that a flag at the Brainerd Post Office, 422 Laurel St., was stolen sometime over the weekend. A woman went to the police department and told officers that she used the flag as a blanket because she is homeless.
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - A Central Lakes College maintenance worker at 11:15 p.m. Monday reported confronting three men near the football concession stands, 501 W. College Dr. The employee told police he was aware the building was recently burglarized. The three men ran away southbound along a fence. Officers located cold beer cans near the concession stand but no damage was found. The suspects were gone upon officers' arrival.
PUBLIC ASSIST - Jessica Vealetzek at 10 p.m. Monday reported her dog was struck by a vehicle at South Sixth and Sycamore streets and had run away. She was concerned the dog was injured and asked officers for help in locating the animal. The dog was located in a nearby yard and returned home.
CRASHES - No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash at 7:11 p.m. Monday on the 300 block of West Washington Street.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 1:47 p.m. Monday on the 500 block of Northwest Fourth Street.
PROPERTY DAMAGE - It was reported Monday that a window had been broken out of a building on the 2000 block of South Sixth Street.
