A search warrant executed Thursday in Round Prairie Township in Todd County led to the discovery of a clandestine methamphetamine lab.
Todd County Sheriff's deputies recovered a loaded handgun, an assault rifle and about one-quarter ounce of meth.
A hazardous waste contractor was called in to dispose of the waste produced by the meth lab. One suspect was taken into custody at the scene. The Todd County Sheriff's office reports an investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
The sheriff's department was assisted by agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration's Fargo, N.D., office and the Long Prairie Police Department.
BURGLARY -- Corral Auto, 200 block of Washington Street, Tuesday reported the business was entered through a window and items taken.
Radco Truck Accessory, 400 block of Highway 25 South, Wednesday reported the business broken into along with vending machines and fire extinguishers discharged.
VANDALISM -- Joel Keller, 3,000 block of Oak Street, Tuesday reported property damage to the construction site at Brainerd Oaks.
THEFT -- Garyson Nordin, 3,000 block of Oak Street, Tuesday reported theft of vehicle.
VANDALISM -- Baxter police investigated a report of all-terrain vehicle/dirt bike use and damage along White Sand Lake.

BURGLARY -- Paradise Shores Resort, 10,000 block of Leisure Lane, Tuesday reported a break-in.
Carl Turner, 14,000 block of State Highway 210, Tuesday reported break-in of a cabin and possible attempt to cook something inside with a bag of Sudafed next to burners.
Brainerd Garages, 10,000 block of Glacier Road, Tuesday reported forced entry and three storage units broken into.
