LASTRUP -- Two people were injured Sunday in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 27 near Lastrup in Morrison County.

The accident happened about 12:45 p.m., the State Patrol reported.

Both drivers, Roxanna Schmidtz, 51, Lastrup, and James Pella, 49, Pierz, were treated at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls and released.

One hurt in bike, car collision

BACKUS -- One person was injured Sunday in a bicycle and car accident on Highway 371 in Backus.

The accident happened about 5 p.m., the State Patrol reported.

The bicyclist, Margaret Hamilton, 15, Backus, was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital, where today she was reported in serious condition.

The driver of the vehicle, James Wickhem, 33, Burnsville, wasn't injured.
