Aitkin edges Crosby-Ironton

AITKIN -- Aitkin won all three doubles matches against Crosby-Ironton Tuesday and held on to beat the Rangers 4-3 in non-conference tennis.

Emily Walz won the only singles match for the Gobblers, defeating Angie Gaviglio 6-2, 6-7 (4-7), 6-4.

Beth Stokman, Brita Johnson and Betsy Wehseler all won singles matches for the Rangers, who drop to 2-7 overall.
