Warriors win two titles, tournament

Brainerd's No. 1 and No. 3 doubles teams finished with 4-0 records to take first place in the six-team Brainerd Invite Saturday.

The Warriors won the meet with 25 points. Roseau and Glencoe-Silver Lake finished tied for second with 18 points.

Zoe Houle-Taylor Headlee took command at No 1. doubles and did not drop a set on their way to a perfect day.

Kathryn Chandler-Katie Southard also did not drop a set while earning their first-place finish at No. 3 doubles.

No. 1 singles player Mikinzee Salo finished with a 4-0 record but took second place due to a tiebreaker that factored in games lost in the four matches.

The combo of seniors Kylee Kunde and Jinna Toft each finished with 2-0 records at No. 4 singles but took second place due to the tiebreaker.
