LITTLE FALLS -- Brainerd's No. 1 singles tennis player Kayla Huether and No. 2 player Fanny Hagmeier continued their impressive play by posting wins and leading the Warriors to a 4-3 Central Lakes Conference win over the Little Falls Flyers Monday.
Huether defeated Jessica Tonder 6-2, 6-1 while Hagmeier scored a 6-3, 6-0 win over LaNika Scepurek. Megan Owens picked up a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles over Ashley Koester.
But it was the Warriors' No. 1 doubles team of Jessica Lofrano and Carolyn Despot that gave Brainerd the winning advantage with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-0 win.
Little Falls' Izzy Anderson won at No. 4 singles. Brooke Miller and Nicole Kempenich won at No. 2 doubles while the team of Ashley Czech and Carrie Peterson picked up a win at No. 3 doubles.
