Marilynn 'Lynn' J. Kilgore

Marilynn "Lynn" Jean Kilgore, 79, Brainerd, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2001, at Bethany Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Brainerd.

She was born July 30, 1922, in Fort Madison, Iowa, to Daniel and Margarite (Hayden) Hauck. She graduated from the Father Madison High School. She married Willard Norman Kilgore on Dec. 1, 1945, in Fort Madison. They lived in Austin and she was employed as a secretary. In 1995, she moved from Austin to the Riverside Villa Apartments in Pine River and later to the Woodland Village Apartments in Brainerd. She recently moved to Bethany Good Samaritan Nursing Home.

Survivors include two sons, David Kilgore, St. Paul, and William Kilgore, Alexandria; a daughter, Marilynn "Mari" Rysavy, Brainerd; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia McQuire, Fort Madison; and two brothers, Thomas Hauck, Fort Madison, and John Hauck, Port Charlotte, Fla.

Her husband and two brothers, Daniel G. and David L. Hauck, died earlier.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin with the Rev. Richard A. Ressler and the Rev. Mary Frances Jones officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Austin. Memorials are preferred.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin and an hour before services Saturday at the mortuary.

A memorial service will be held at Woodland Village Chapel in Brainerd and arrangements will be announced later.
