McGREGOR -- Christine M. Fulton, 84, McGregor, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2001, at the Noepeming Nursing Home in Duluth.
She was born Feb. 2, 1917, in Perry, Okla., to John and Della (Heldt) Sutherland. She moved to Anoka and then to McGregor with her family. She attended schools in Anoka and graduated from McGregor High School in 1935. She married Willard Fulton on July 3, 1938, in Shamrock Township. She operated a greenhouse for a number of years and helped her husband in the cement block business. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Aitkin.
Survivors include three daughters, Ramona Hooper, McGregor, Judy Pressnoll, Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and Maxine Coulter, Decatur, Ill.; a son, Charles Fulton, Berkely Springs, W.Va.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; two sisters, Florence Menter, Jacobson, and Ruth Lien, Seattle; and a brother, Floyd Sutherland, Silverdale, Wash.
Her husband and two brothers died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at McGregor Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Vanderwerf officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
