Geese are magical; stepsisters are wicked; wolves dress up like grandmothers; and hedgehogs race hares in Grimm Tales.
Welcome to the world of "Once Upon a Time." It is the world of the Brothers Grimm and their stories that have been handed down for more than a century to generation upon generation of children, and brought to life in movies, plays and dozens of storybooks.
"Once Upon a Time" was dramatized by the Young Vic Theatre Co. in London and adapted for stage by acclaimed British poet Carol Ann Duffy. It will be presented at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in the Pequot Lakes School auditorium.
Tickets are available by calling (218) 568-9200, or at the door the day of the performance. Tickets are $11 for adults, $9 for seniors and $5 for youths. One free child's ticket for ages 12 and under will be offered for every adult or senior ticket bought.
The presentation will be by the Children's Theatre Co.
