Pequot pounds Pelican by 27

PELICAN RAPIDS - Matt Michaelson connected with Cole Engen from 27 yards out and Jacob Box from 14 yards to help the Pequot Lakes Patriots drub the Pelican Rapids Vikings for a 34-7 Heart O'Lakes Conference victory Friday.

Nick Greer rushed in from 48-yards out to give Pequot a 14-0 halftime edge. The Patriots held a 28-0 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
