Flyers' losing streak ends at 21

COLD SPRING - Zach Horesji carried the ball 35 times for 234 yards and a touchdown to help the Little Falls Flyers snap a 21-game losing streak with Friday's 16-7 Central Lakes Conference victory over the Rocori Spartans.

Horesji opened the scoring with a 3-yard run with 1:11 remaining in the first half.

Rocori tied the score in the fourth on a Spencer Schulte 26-yard run, but two minutes later Alex Scott hit Hunter Hanowski for a 16-yard touchdown pass to hand the Flyers the lead for good.

Joe Tuholsky added a safety for good measure.

Scott finished 7-of-14 passing for 66 yards and the score. Tuholsky led the Flyers with six tackles, including one for a loss, while Horesji had an interception.
