PINE RIVER - The Bagley Flyers held a 284-136 advantage in total offense, but the Pine River-Backus Tigers made the most of their opportunities to pick up a 22-6 Northern Plains Conference win Friday.
Sophomore quarterback Nathan Holm completed only three passes for 47 yards, but two went for touchdowns in the second quarter. The first was a 14-yard strike to Mitchell Kline at 6:46 and then a 47-yarder to Byron Stark with 2:38 left in the half.
A 77-yard interception return by Derek Sonenstahl late in the third completed the scoring for PR-B.
