DEER RIVER - Mark Hoge caught four passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns and intercepted two passes as the Crosby-Ironton Rangers trampled the Deer River Warriors 26-6 Friday.
Hoge and quarterback Phil Kuhlmann connected on a 68-yard touchdown pass to open the game. The two reunited in the third quarter from 35-yards out for a 20-6 Ranger lead.
Kuhlmann, who finished with 115 yards on 8-of-18 passing, found Mitch Gutzman for a 15-yard score in the fourth quarter.
The Rangers' balanced offensive attack was helped by Nathan Hudrlik's 118 rushing yards, that included a 9-yard touchdown run.
Matthew Hudrlik rushed for 96 yards on 13 carries as the Rangers racked up 350 yards of offense.
Tyler Heinlin also had an interception for the 2-0 Rangers.
