MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- A majority of Minnesotans do not approve of President Bush's handling of the national economy, dropping his overall job rating back to prewar levels, according to a statewide poll published Friday.
The Star Tribune Minnesota Poll found Bush's job approval rating at 49 percent, down from 63 percent in April. It's down slightly from a February poll, but far below a high of 87 percent approval after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
