Election Central times

The first preliminary returns aren't expected until 9 o'clock today, but Election Central will open at The Brainerd Dispatch at 8 p.m. today and run until 10:30 p.m.

Polls for the primary election close at 8 p.m. in Crow Wing County.

Results for area primary races will be updated on Extra Access, the newspaper's telephone service, for those calling 829-2900 or 1-800-547-2909 and using code 2525.
