Pequot's Lydeen, C-I's Borden pace invite

CROSSLAKE - Silas Lydeen crossed the finish line in 18:10 to lead the Pequot Lakes boys to first Thursday in the Wildwedge Invite at Crosswoods Golf Course.

Lydeen was followed closely by teammates Adison Runberg and Jake Braam.

Runberg ran to a second-place 18:55 and Braam ran a third-place 19:10.

The Crosby-Ironton girls finished first and were led by Lisa Borden's first-place time of 15:53. Shelby Vukelich placed third and Marie Abear was fourth.

The Pequot Lakes girls finished second with Kylie Beltz placing fifth and Jordan Roy seventh.

The C-I boys finished second. Colt Severson clocked a fourth-place 19:21 and Phil Stokman and Jacob Goodwin finished sixth and seventh.
