BROWERVILLE -- MaryAnn L. Jambor, 77, Browerville, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2000, at the Greater Staples Hospital.
She was born Dec. 25, 1922, in Franklin, to Charles and Margaret (Fahey) Cronin. She moved with her family from southern Minnesota to the Motley area in the spring of 1934. She attended Riverside Country School and Motley School. She married Albert Jambor on Sept. 21, 1948 in Staples. For a short time, they worked in Iowa before moving back to the farm in the Browerville area. In February of 1951 they purchased and moved into the family farm in Moran Township. She was a member of the St. Isidores Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Leo Jambor, North Branch; three daughters, Joann Drajna, Staples, Roseanne Jambor, Browerville, and CarolAnn John, Isanti; three sisters, Bernice Vogel and Louise Logering, both of Staples and Bernadine Vogel, Leader; a brother, Leo Cronin, Minnetonka; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Three brothers, Edward, Charles and Patrick; a sister, Margaret; and two grandchildren died earlier.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Isidores Catholic Church with Father Eugene Meemken officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples with prayers at 7:30 p.m.
