Ceremony planned to dedicate Baxter's new bike trail system

The Baxter bike trail system will be officially dedicated at a ceremony hosted by officials from Baxter, Brainerd, DNR, Minnesota Department of Transportation, Crow Wing Township and Crow Wing County.

The event is expected to take place in early October, according to the Paul Bunyan Trail Association and Brainerd Community Action, the two groups organizing the event.

Details are still being worked out, but the ceremony is expected to include state and area elected officials.
