Charles "Chuck" E. Grondin, 70, died at home on July 15, 2005, following a brief illness.
A native of Brainerd, Minn., Chuck lived in Vallejo for 42 years and worked as a mechanic at Ogden Imports for 25 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1959.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bari Rothberg-Parker and is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Edward (Chris), Rick, Jeff, Debra (Ryan), Moore, Yvonne (John) Ricker, Sammi (Randy) Dolhanyk, Jim Wickens, Roland Wickens, many granchildren and great-grandchildren.
Chuck was known as a lovable guy who would give you the shirt off his back. He always had a joke to tell and summers will always be remembered for barbecues and horseshoe tournaments in Chuck's backyard. he will be missed by all who knew him.
