CROSS COUNTRY

PEQUOT LAKES -- The Pequot Lakes boys' team placed first and Pillager's Kyle Dukowitz was the individual boys' winner in the Pequot Lakes Invitational cross country meet Thursday at Wild Wedge Golf Park.

Pequot's boys scored 38 points and Dukowitz finished the 5,000-meter course in 19:36. The Patriots' Josh Dale was fourth, Tucker Sheley fifth and Jacob Dale sixth.

The Patriot girls finished second with 41 points. Pequot's Madison Engen was runner-up, Jacki Doty fourth and Toni Gammello 10th.
