Kim's hat trick leads LRCS

BAXTER - Lake Region Christian jumped out to a quick start with Young Kim scoring twice in the first six minutes as the Hornets went on to an 8-3 win over Maplewood Academy Tuesday.

Kim added another goal in the first for his hat trick. Teammates David Jensen and Aaron Bostrom each scored twice for LRCS, which outshot a younger Maplewood team 19-7.

BELLE PRAIRIE - The Little Falls Flyers came up short Tuesday as they dropped a 1-0 decision to St. Cloud Tech in Central Lakes Conference play.

Elias Fark scored unassisted for the Tigers at 10:00 of the first half.

Both teams had eight shots on goal with Flyers keeper Dan Kornbaum stopping seven.
