A 70-year-old Thomastown Township man was killed Tuesday after he fell off a tractor he had been operating and was run over, the Wadena County Sheriff's Department reported.
Earl Edwin Lubbke, 70, was pronounced dead at the scene in Thomastown Township by the Wadena County coroner.
The Staples Ambulance Service also responded to the farm accident.
The accident was reported at about 12:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Flategraff upgraded to fair condition
Kevin Flategraff, the 29-year-old Anderson Brothers Construction employee who was seriously injured after the company dump truck he was driving collided with a train west of Baxter Sept. 1, is now listed in fair condition at St. Cloud Hospital.
Flategraff's truck collided with a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train at the west junction of Cass County Road 36 near the Highway 210 intersection.
A similar July 12 accident also injured another Anderson Brothers employee after the truck he was driving collided with a train at the east junction of County Road 36 and Highway 210.
