START, La. (AP) -- Tim McGraw came home, and about 40,000 fans showed up to greet him.

The country singer performed two shows in his hometown Saturday for a TV special, drawing fans from all over the country. McGraw, who performs every year at his Swampstock benefit in nearby Rayville, sang hits such as "Down on the Farm" and "Something Like That."

"I see a lot of familiar faces out here tonight: some of my teachers, my coaches," McGraw told the audience.

The NBC special is scheduled to air in November.

Model to open camp

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) -- Supermodel Tyra Banks, who established a summer camp to help girls develop self-esteem two years ago in California, plans to open a similar camp in Florida.

Banks said Saturday she is considering the Fort Lauderdale and Orlando areas as possible sites for the non-profit camp, called T-Zone.

"The facility is very important," Banks told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "It has to be safe, something sanitary and exceptional staff."

Banks started the first T-Zone camp in Santa Barbara, Calif., in 2000.
