S-M girls run to title

STAPLES-MOTLEY -- The Staples-Motley Cardinals girls' cross country team recorded four top 10 and six top 20 finishes to win the S-M Invitational Saturday.

Chad Brever's third-place finish paced the Cardinal boys to a third-place finish behind Class 2A schools Tartan and Roseville.

Brittany Brenny led the S-M girls with a third-place finish.
