Swimmers, divers take second

BEMIDJI -- Katie Diiro picked up the only individual victory for the Brainerd Warriors girls' swimming and diving team which finished second at the Bemidji Invitational Saturday.

Diiro won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.18. Amanda Johnson finished second in diving with 201.85 points. Erica Campbell was second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:48.39.

The 200 free relay of Erica Campbell, Amanda Bateman, Diiro and Christina Roberts finished second as did the 400 free relay of Roberts, Krista Rauen, Campbell and Bateman.
