Pegel-Bye
Melinda Jean Pegel and Reed Raylyn Bye were married June 3, 2000, at Park United Methodist Church of Brainerd with Pastor Rory Swenson officiating.
Parents are Linda Mathison, Nisswa, and Gaylan Pegel Sr., Burke, Va., and Ray and Ruthie Bye, Onamia.
The bride's attendants were Lisa Kraemer, Cassie Mathison, Marlene Castillo, Misty Peterson and Heide Boehm. Junion bridesmaid was Autumn Petersen. Personal attendant was Jamie Cizek.
The groom's attendants were Ryan Bye, Pat Pickar, Matt Olson, Chad Loeffler and Matt Scott. Junior groomsman was Brett Bye. Ushers were Todd Pegel, Gaylan Pegel Jr. and Josh Mathison.
A reception was at the Old Waterfall Inn.
The bride graduated from Brainerd High School and is currently doing her medical technology clinical rotations through the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She will graduate with a medical technology degree and a biomedicine degree. She is an intern at St. Cloud Hospital.
The groom graduated from Onamia High School and Central Lakes College with a degree in law enforcement. He is employed as a deputy of Mille Lacs County.
The couple is at home in Milaca.
