Roy G. Goering

Roy Gerald Goering, 80, Brainerd, formerly of Truro, Iowa, died Sept. 5, 2004, at Cuyuna Regional Care Center, Crosby. He was born on June 28, 1924, in Marion Co., Iowa, to George and Gladys (Lovell) Goering.

Survivors include his wife, Neola; four sons, Gerald (Mary Ann) Goering, Brainerd, Ron (Barb) Goering, St. Charles, Iowa, Dan (Diane) Goering, Truro, Iowa, Charles (Jackie Goedken) Goering, Brainerd; a daughter, Karen (Kenneth) Armour, Des Moines, Iowa; four brothers, Ivan Goering, Charlton, Iowa, Kenneth Goering, Newton, Iowa, Donnie Goering, Blue Grass, Iowa, Franklin Dee, Leon, Iowa; two sisters, Frances Krutsinger, Charlton, Iowa, Katherine Kimzey, New Virginia, Minn.; 29 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Indianola, Iowa. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
