Going Digital with Video: Instructor: Chris Hunter The digital world is now ready for everyone! The first section of

class will give you an overview of the basics: what equipment is

needed, a quick test drive with Apple's iMovie 2, and how other types of media could be incorporated in your work. The second section will

involve two work sessions. You will provide a digital video camera

and video footage, or other source material, and edit together a

project of your choice. If time permits you will be able to make a CD

of your finished project. NOTE: Introduction session can be attended separate from work sessions. Senior rate is $22 or $70 for three.

Learn word processing skills using the popular Microsoft Works

program. Using a project approach to learning the software, students

Spreadsheets on the PC: Instructor: Rob Norgon. Using Microsoft Works, students will use a hands-on project approach to learning this popular software program. Students will learn the

basics of using a spreadsheet for personal financial record keeping.

Browser. We will also address the Netscape Communicator Browser and learn to use the menu bars, tool bars, address bars, status bars and other features commonly found in either browser.
