The Nisswa Women of Today will meet 6 p.m. Monday at Nisswa Community Library inside Nisswa Elementary School to host an evening of making homemade cards using rubber stamps and fun accessories. Jabberwocky's art classes
Jabberwocky's, Glorious Nonsensical Art and Activities, located at 122 West Main Street in Crosby, will be the host for beginning sketching classes offered by Louise Johnson of Animal Artistry. The class will begin on Tuesday, with two times offered, 10 a.m. to noon and/or 6:30-8:30 p.m., and will run for a minimum of four weeks. There will be a sketching kit available for purchase, all or in part, pertaining to what is needed for the class. There is an instruction fee per meeting time. Harvest supper and quilt show
The 6th annual harvest supper and quilt show will be Thursday at Woodland Good Samaritan Village. Supper will be served from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the 200 building dining room. Menu includes, chicken, sweet corn, baked beans, harvest salad, tomatoes, dinner rolls, apple pie, cinnamon ice cream. Cost: $10 for adults; $5 for children 8 and under. The quilt show will be from 2-8 p.m. in the 300 dining room.
