Poepping, Luberts lead Pierz

PIERZ -- Mark Poepping and Craig Luberts combined to score five touchdowns, giving the Pierz Pioneers a 38-7 Central Minnesota Conference football victory over rival Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa.

The Pioneers' defense allowed the Jaguars 125 yards of total offense and six first downs.

Luberts scored three touchdowns on 112 yards rushing and caught a pass for 47 yards. Poepping scored twice on 47 yards receiving and one run for 41 yards.
