Alicyn Marie Carlson and Ryan Michael Strege were married Aug. 3, 2002, at the New Thought Outdoor Chapel in Long Lake.
Parents are Steve and Julie Barthel, Elk River, and Bob Carlson, Inver Grove Heights, and Mark and Sue Strege, St. Louis Park. Grandparents are Evelyn O'Connor-Fisher and the late Tom O'Connor, and Cal and Pat Carlson, Brainerd.
A reception was at The Carousel Works in Big Lake.
They are both attending the University of Wisconsin.
The couple is at home in Duluth.
