LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Bob Hope was released from a hospital Thursday after a 12-day stay to treat what doctors said was a mild case of pneumonia.
"He's home," publicist Ward Grant said.
The 98-year-old entertainer left Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank with his wife for their home near Los Angeles.
Dr. Lee Kagan, said Hope was "doing fine and eating well."
"However, it will be several more weeks before he is fully recovered from his illness," he said.
Anne Heche pregnant
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Add expectant mother to the roles taken on by Anne Heche.
Heche, who married cameraman Coleman Laffoon on Saturday in a ceremony in Los Angeles, is three months pregnant, publicist Brad Cafarelli said Thursday.
The 32-year-old actress and Laffoon had dated for a year. They met while working on a documentary about her ex-girlfriend, Ellen DeGeneres.
Heche discussed her high-profile relationship with the comedian during an interview with Barbara Walters on ABC's "20/20" Wednesday night. Walters revealed that Heche is pregnant during the interview.
Heche and DeGeneres broke up in August 2000 after three years of a very public relationship.
During her interview with Walters, Heche said she was sexually abused by her father as a child, which caused her years of psychological problems. She also said she had a split personality, thought she could talk to God, and acknowledged taking drugs.
Her memoir, "Call Me Crazy," has just been published by Scribner.
