If you can't get enough of Robert DeNiro, you are in luck this weekend. His latest vehicle, "City by the Sea," opens Friday in most area theaters. Not surprisingly, DeNiro plays a New York City police detective working a murder case in which his estranged son (James Franco) is a primary suspect. The investigation forces the detective to confront his long-buried demons, including the issues that inspired the separation from his son. "City by the Sea" is rated R for language, violence and drug use.
Shop, shop, shop
Shoppers by the thousands will flood into Little Falls this weekend for the annual Arts and Crafts Fair, which runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday throughout the downtown area. An estimated 100,000 people are expected to attend the two-day event, featuring more than 1,000 arts, crafts and food vendors. Now in its 30th year, the fair is ranked by a national trade magazine as one of the largest and best events of its kind in the Midwest.
