Bruce K. Smith
CROSBY -- Bruce K. Smith, 73, Crosby, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at home.
He was born Nov. 15, 1928, in Minot, N.D., to Einar and Emma (Bergman) Smith. He received his accounting degree from Minnesota School of Business in 1948. He was discharged from the Navy in 1954. He retired as a circulation district manager for the Minneapolis Star and Tribune in 1970. He retired as an appraiser-assessor for Anoka County in 1989. He was a former member of Westwood Lutheran Church in St. Louis Park; Masonic Lodge (Ark Lodge No. 176 of Minnesota); and the Zuhrah Shrine, Minneapolis. He retired to the Cuyuna Range in 1991.
Burial will be in Grimes Cemetery near Chariton, Iowa. Memorials are preferred to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
